ROA Street Art in London
Looks like we missed Belgium artist ROA while we were away last weekend. The artist painted this new street art piece just off Brick Lane on the Old Truman Brewery gates which had previously seen work from Coloumbian street artist Bastardilla. We are hoping that this is just the first of many new pieces that ROA will paint ahead of his upcoming show at StolenSpace next month.
Entitled 'Hypnagogia', the forthcoming exhibition will be a large scale event spread over two exhibition spaces, so we can expect to see some installation work as well as original works painted on various found objects. The show opening will also mark the launch of ROA's first artist book 'Roa: 'An Introduction To Animal Representation' by Mammal Press. More details about the exhibition and book launch can be found on the StolenSpace website.
