The countdown is well underway to the 16th edition of Norway's Nuart Festival (Previously on Hookedblog), which is taking place from 8-11th of September 2016.

The festival will officially open on Saturday 10th September at the Tou Scene Centre for Contemporary Arts, with an indoor exhibition running until Sunday 16th October. As with previous editions, there will be a program of talks, tours, exhibitions and of course, a series of new outdoor works from this years invited international artists to be discovered on the streets.

We, unfortunately, missed last year's edition as we were in New York working with artist Vermibus on his Unveiling Beauty project (Previously on Hookedblog), but we are excited to be returning to the city of Stavanger on the Norwegian West coast for this years edition of the festival.

What with frequent flights to Stavanger from London’s Heathrow and Gatwick Airport and the short flight time, the festival is really a must for street art fans and you don’t want to miss it! Plus with the festival organizers locating new walls and spaces each year for the visiting artists, a large portion of the outdoor works from previous NuArt festivals can still be seen around the city making Stavanger one of Europe’s Street Art Hot Spots (Previously on Hookedblog)
