05 — Vermibus

Berlin based artist Vermibus was one of the invited artists taking part in the annual NuArt Festival in Stavanger, Norway.

Alongside the indoor work for the festival, Vermibus hit the Stavanger streets installing a number of his works across the city, hacking into these advertising spaces, and swapping out the commercial posters with his artworks.

The above were two of the posters that were discovered while exploring street art around the city.

01 - Banksy

Our number one liked picture this month on our Hookedblog Instagram was of course one of the two new Banksy artworks that appeared on opposite walls in London beneath the Barbican Centre.

The two artworks by Banksy were inspired by the current Jean-Michel Basquiat show Boom For Real also at the Barbican Centre appearing on the walls the week before the exhibition opened. We featured both new Banksy stencil works on the site along with some closeup photos and a video.
