Woodstock Got High, Mural by London Street Artist Fanakapan

London-based street artist Fanakapan recently completed work on these double gates tucked away on a quiet side street along the Regents canal, away from the throngs of street art tours and the street art instagramarazzi who usually swarm around artists painting in popular street art hotspots in Shoreditch and Brick Lane.

Fanakapan has been painting this hidden little spot for some time now, refreshing the gates with new work on a regular basis, earlier works have included the 3D chrome octopus piece pictured below. For his latest mural work on the metal gates, Fanakapan painted a quick piece that features the much loved fictional characters Woodstock and Snoopy from Charles M. Schulz's comic strip Peanuts, with Woodstock the bird painted as a flying helium balloon.
