French Duo Kamlaurene London Street Art
The streets of East London have recently seen the return of French street art duo Kamlaurene. The Parisian artistic duo and couple have installed a series of new London street art paste-up works with a focus on the walls in and around the Brick Lane area.
Kamlaurene's London Street Art
—
It was back 2014 that Kamlaurene first took their work from the studio outside onto the streets, and since then the French duo has been wheat pasting their hand-painted paste-ups on city walls from Paris, to Berlin, Lisbon, and of course London. We were first introduced to the artists' street artworks when they visited London at the start of March 2019. We had spotted what looked like a super large paste-ups on an orange gate while on the upper deck of a bus traveling up Kingsland Road in East London.
We returned later that day to investigate and take some photographs of the character pictured above. We spotted what we suspected was the artist's name to the bottom of the paste-up.
A quick look at Instagram and we managed to track down Kamlaurene's Instagram account and it was apparent from their profile we had located one of a series of works they had wheat-pasted onto walls across London.
Over the following days, we found a large number of the artists' work sharing the collection in this post "French Street Art Duo Kamlaurene Visit London".

Kamlaurene Brick Lane Street Art
—
Following their London visit last year Kamlaurene recently returned to East London installing some fifteen new artworks that we have located and photographed to date.
Unlike their earlier visit where we saw both the smaller artworks as well as the supersized characters installed across Brick Lane, Shoreditch, and Columbia Road Flower Market, these new smaller works were for the most part installed along Brick Lane.
A series of Kamlaurene street art characters pasted high above the street along Cheshire Street just off Brick Lane, London. The artists have covered one whole half of this shop's signage with eight of their paste-ups characters looking down on the passers-by, most oblivious to their presence.
A wider shot of this vintage clothing shop on the corner of Brick Lane and Cheshire Street featuring eight of the new paste-up works the street artists.
Further along Brick Lane heading toward the famous Beigel Shops the French street artists have installed an additional four paper works. Again the works have been glued high above street level to the signage of an empty shop unit.
Just across the street from the Brick Lane works we spotted one solo paste-ups works from Kamlaurene on a shop front along Redchurch Street, London pictured above.
One of two larger than life-sized paste-ups by the artists from their previous London visit at the beginning of 2019 that is still visible on the East London streets. This work can be found just off Kingsland Road on Crooked Billet Yard.
The second of these life-sized works, again this one pictured above is still running from their March 2019 London visit. This large paste-up figure can be seen hanging around just of Bethnal Green Road along St Matthew's Row, London E2.
Should you want to see some of the additional larger street art paste-ups the duo installed on that visit, take a look at our post "French Street Art Duo Kamlaurene Visit London", as all but the two featured above have been removed or painted over from that visit.
