Having previously painted two large-scale murals in the city, one located at the University of Cheltenham and a second large 'Cheltenham Hug' mural piece, My Dog Sighs was invited back for the third edition of the Cheltenham street art festival.

In addition to these two larger murals, earlier editions of the festival have seen the artist painting a number of smaller street-level pieces on doorways and walls around Cheltenham.

Alongside the large murals and smaller works, My Dog Sighs was also invited by some local residents and fans to paint works directly onto the exterior of their Cheltenham homes with one seeing him collaborate with Dutch street artist Nol.

For this year's street art festival, street artist My Dog Sigh was presented with the challenge of painting a new canvas in the city in the form of a tiny home.

A former Royal Mail postal delivery van has been renovated and converted by a local Cheltenham resident into a beautiful tiny home complete with a kitchen/living and sleeping area. My Dog Sighs was invited to transform the exterior of the truck into a moving artwork.

A nod to its former life the truck was given a fresh coat of bright red color as a base color similar to the that used by the Royal Mail. My Dog Sighs then spent the whole weekend redecorating the exterior with his signature eyes in various sizes with the front truck cabin getting some lightning-like bolts of light painted onto it.

Parked in Cheltenham’s North Place car park, we caught up with My Dog Sighs over the weekend at various intervals while he was working on the truck, photographing him and the progress he was making over the three days we were in Cheltenham visiting the street art festival.

Check out the completed truck pictured above with street artist My Dog Sighs sat atop of the redecorated home. We have also shared a selection of the work in progress images below in this post and if you find yourself in Cheltenham keep your eyes peels for this moving canvas.
