Onetime London resident and legendary street artist Sweet Toof made a welcome return to the streets of East London over the last number of weeks. Famed for his signature pink gummy teeth from Bushwick to Bow the artists' works have adorned rooftops, freight trains, buildings and walls up and down the UK and beyond.
December 2018 saw the artist take his work indoors with him staging a solo exhibition here in London, titled Mid Night Crisis. The show featured a series of new large oil paintings from Sweet Toof along with sculptural works, ceramics and our favourite, Sweet Toofs hand made lino and woodcut print editions.
Sweet Toof London Visit
—
His most recent visit saw the artist taking to the streets of the East End of London with new works appearing in Brick Lane, Sclater Street, Hanbury Street, Columbia Road and a number of new additions to walls and rooftops in Hackney Wick.
Two of the new works saw Sweet Toof collaborate with a one-time crew member and Bristol-based artist Rowdy known for his sharp-toothed crocodiles. They were also o joined by artist street artist Knapple adding her pineapple piece to the roller shutter near Columbia Road and again on a second work on Hanbury Street.

One, two, three! An early start is needed to catch these three roller shutters painted by Sweeet Toof featuring some gummy skulls on Sclater Street. With a gallery at this location, the security shutters are often up so should you want to see them in person get up early!!

A rare car-free day window allowed us to capture a photograph of this fun Sweet Toof piece on Brick Lane, London just off the famous Beigel Shop.
There are a number of additionals works by the street artist painted further East in Hackney Wick that we have to photograph so stay tuned for more.
