Amara Por Dios Star Yard Mural in London

Amara Por Dios Mural in London

It’s been a busy week for the walls of East London Star Yard Car Park, a popular spot to paint for street artists. Earlier this week we featured the new work of London street artist Fanakapan who spray painted a 3D Chrome Ballon Dog Mural (Previously on Hookedblog) on one of the yard walls.

Hookedblog revisited the Star Yard this afternoon to take some additional photographs and managed to catch up with Swedish street artist Amara Por Dios. Based in London for a number of years now her work is a regular feature on the cities walls. Instantly recognisable for her use of vibrant colours, organic shapes, patterns and faces drawing inspiring from the ancient civilizations and religious artefacts from around the world. Have a look at the selection of pictures we took this afternoon of Amara Por Dios at work as well as the finished mural.
