Midge & My Dog Sighs hit London with new work

We at Hookedblog have been enjoying the beautiful new series of hand-painted paste-ups over the last few days that we have been discovering around the Old Street / Shoreditch / Brick Lane areas. The new work is that of Portsmouth based street artist Midge who was in London last week wheat pasting his pieces along with some collaborative pieces he has painted with My Dog Sighs.

The two artists hit the area hard with these paste-ups, which to be honest are more like originals as no two are the same. Just when we think we have photographed them all we have been stumbling on some additional pieces so we have no idea how many more are out there waiting to be found. Below is a selection of the works we have photographed so far if we missed anything give us a shout.

Happy NY2014 Dave.

I have just seen this video made during the set up of Swoon's show currently running in Paris. IN the video she talks about this piece and how she created it while her mother was dying of cancer. The link to the video is below.
