We have just stumbled onto a great channel on Vimeo 'WKE' which is advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy’s foray into documenting provocative conversations on culture, music and all sorts of fascinating topics from Portland, Amsterdam, New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, Delhi and beyond. One of the videos that caught our eye was this one featuring SWOON.
SWOON is a street artist from New York City who specializes in life-size wheat-paste prints and paper cutouts. SWOON, whose real name is Caledonia “Callie” Curry, studied painting at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and started doing street art around 1999. DIY America took their cameras and followed her around her native Brooklyn one afternoon as she puts up pieces in the street and talks about her work.
