Argentinian artist Mart Aire's London Street Art mural in Shoreditch

Just back from Berlin and Hookedblog caught up with our friends at Pigment London who were organizing a wall for Argentinian street artist and illustrator Mart Aire.

Argentinian artist Mart Aire in London, UK

We last heard from Mart back in 2012 when the artist was one of four Argentinian artists who traveled to London to take part in The Talking Walls of Buenos Aires exhibition (covered here).

Curated by art collective Graffitimundo, the exhibition brought a taste of Buenos Aires street art and graffiti culture to London and featured the artworks of 23 Buenos Aires artists and 2 photographers.

The artist was in town en route to Blackpool for this year's edition of the Sand Sea & Spray street art festival taking place over the weekend of July 10-12th.

And with Pigment London hooking Mart Aire up with a free wall in London, the artist took the opportunity to paint a quick mural here in East London before he heading North for the Sand Sea & Spray festival. You can find his new mural in the Old Truman Brewery just off Brick Lane, London.
