We have been fans of Madrid based Luzinterruptus for some time and have been following their fantastic work on their blog. Luzinterruptus is an anonymous artistic group of three, who carry out urban interventions in public spaces using the light as a raw material and the dark as their canvas.

We can't believe we haven't posted about their work prior to this. There latest intervention is entitled "An Almost ephimeral Autumn" and was created in the Moratalaz district of Madrid on the 3rd of November over a three hour period.

For the installation An Almost ephimeral Autumn they lit 200 dry leaves and lifted them from the ground until it seems as if a truly soft breeze of light had made the Autumn fallen leaves raise into the air. The fantastic work was documented by photographer Gustavo Sanabria.Head over to their website and check out some of their other beautiful light interventions.
