Hookedblog have been following the work of italian artist Illustre Feccia for about a year now after we were introduced to the work online via the subvertising organisation Special Patrol Group who have been reposting Illustre Feccia’s adbusting work on their Facebook page.


With a high turnaround time for many of London's ad shells some getting updated twice a week depending on their location, the lifespan for many of these works is extremely short. In the last year that we have been following the artists adbusting works we have only just this week managed to catch one of the works actually on the street rather than online via a photo.

The piece pictured here titled 'No justice no peace' was spotted over the January Bank Holiday weekend on Commercial Street in East London close to the Watney Market / Shadwell Station. We had our camera with us and were able to grab some photographs of this work which only ran for a few days before getting replaced with another advertisement.
