Jessica Albarn At Nelly Duff
After finishing art college the Super talented Jessica Albarn began exhibiting and was a founder member of the infamous Northbank Gallery in London. Sister of Blur's enigmatic front man, Jessica published a rare commissioned portrait of Banksy and, in a first collaboration for the brand, macabre spider designs by the British artist featured in the Helmut Lang Spring 2009 catwalk collection.
Jessica has exhibited her exquisite artworks across Japan, Tokyo, Sweden and the UK. Her geometric portraits of peace protestor Brian Haw, singer Alison Goldfrapp and DJ Derek contrast with her dark obsession for leggy insects, Spiders and the beauty of the misunderstood.
The show opens with an opening view Thursday 8 April 6-9pm and runs for 3 days.
