Stolen Space Gallery Opens
Dface's Stolen Space Gallery re-opens and finds itself a permanent home in East London's Truman Brewery.
StolenSpace exhibits the artwork of a genre yet defined, influences from skateboard graphics, graffiti, illustration, comic books and tattoo art prevail in the often controversial work by these infamous and sometimes anonymous artists who's work embraces the urban environment and asthetic. Influenced by prevailing underground subcultures where there are few rules and anything is possible, Stolenspace exhibits this vitality that has been overlooked by galleries and museums for so long. Founded by like minded individuals who are directly involved in this movement, StolenSpace houses a collection of artwork by:
David Bray, D*Face, Conor Harrington, Harry Hayward, Hellovon, Dave Kinsey, Charles Krafft, Andrew McAttee, Word to Mother, Kirsty Whiten, Dan Witz.
