Jimmy C aka Jimmy Cochran's David Bowie mural in Brixton London

Our regular readers are sure to be familiar with the work of London based Australian street artist Jimmy C, aka James Cochran.

The last few years have seen the artist creating a number of murals in his energetic pointillist/drip style that he has become associated with across London and beyond.

We recently featured the artist's beautiful 'Cosmic Mind' mural painted in Shoreditch (covered here) and on a recent visit south of the river, we finally caught some pictures of this classic David Bowie mural painted by the artist in Brixton, London.

The Bowie mural was originally painted by Jimmy C back in 2013, on the side of Morley's department store opposite Brixton tube station. It was created to coincide with the 'David Bowie is' exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum which also opened in 2013 and was visited by over 312,000 visitors.
