Irish artist Conor Harrington in Ireland.
Black Herds of The Rain is a film documenting Irish artist Conor Harrington's trip home to Ireland in the summer of 2011 to paint 3 walls. The journey and subsequent paintings were inspired by Austin Clarke's poem 'The Lost Heifer'.

Black Herds of the Rain Film

This is the second short film that Conor Harrington has made with London based filmmaker Andrew Telling. The First saw the artist visit the Middle East back in 2010, to make the Crossing Lines film. Black Herds of The Rain also sees the return of talented colour grader Chloe Hayward.

Upcoming Conor Harrington Exhibition

We at Hookedblog are really looking forward to seeing Conor's new body of work, which he has been working on over the last few months for his upcoming show next month at Lazarides Gallery.

We have seen a few teaser photos that have been posted online and can't wait to see the works in person. More details on the forthcoming exhibition when we have it.
