A date for your diaries, over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend 30th April - 3rd May 2010, the LAVA Collective are taking over two rooms in The Rag Factory, which is situated just off Brick lane on Heneage Street. Some of you may have seen the Sickboy one day LogoPop show there just before christmas. {blogged here}. More after the jump.

The main room is set to feature works from Brazilian artists Bruno 9li & Talita Hoffman, with details of the artists set to feature in the second room yet to be announced. We are big fans of BRUNO 9li here at Hooked and are delighted to hear Bruno 9li will be flying over to London from Brazil to create large-scale mural in the space for the exhibition. This will form the centrepiece of the show, which will also feature his new series of original works on paper.
Talita Hoffmann will also be travelling to London with 9li to preside over her first UK show. At a precocious age, Hoffmann is creating work of remarkable subtlety and sophistication. Her paintings are surreal, vibrant, quirky and colourful. We were not aware of Talita's work before hearing about this show but after a quick look at some of her work we like what we are seeing.
