We braved the London rain last night and popped down to Black Rat to check out The Black Dog Books pop-up shop (blogged here) in their gallery space. Some cool books on sale in the shop including Vandalogs recent publication the Thousands, also spotted Limited Editions of the Subway art book and they had copies of the excellent Swoon book (blogged here) which is worth making the trip to get a copy.
Alongside the books for sale, the gallery released a new edition from Elbow Toe. Some of you may have seen the stunning 'Brother, Can You Spare A Dime?' image from earlier this year on the streets of East London. Now in print form the image was released as an edition of just 50. Hand-pulled silkscreen on 250 grams Stonehenge Natural White moulde-made paper and 21 x 31 5/8 inches in size. The detail on the print was fantastic and it such a great image it was no surprise they were selling fast last night. I believe there were some left last night so If you are intereted contact Black Rat Press.
