PhotobucketWe have been so busy recently we almost missed posting about the Thousands show which is opening tomorrow night and not Thursday as we originally thought.

The Thousands will see a RJ from Vandalog curating his first exhibition in the vast space that is The Village Underground in Shoreditch. The exhibition is set to feature a collection of original work by some of the top names in street art including Barry McGee, Faile, Banksy, KAWS, Shepard Fairey and Swoon.
“The Thousands” is an attempt to show the art world and the public that there are great works of art within the sphere of “street” and that these artists deserve a place in art history."
RJ has been working flat out on the show all summer, liaising with private collectors to aquire works on loan for the show and he has also invited a number of artists to create new works specifically for the show. If all that wasn't enough to manage, RJ has partnered with Dragolab the Italian publishing company and put together an accompanying book “The Thousands: Painting Outside, Breaking In” which will be released at the show opening tomorrow. This is going to be a fantastic show, with a collection of works that you don't get to see everyday and certainly won't want to miss.

The exhibition opens it doors tomorrow with a private view, Wednesday November 18th: 6-10pm. After the preview the show will run until Sunday 22nd November.
