Studio 55 is a working creative space in the heart of London’s media hub, Soho. After working with, collaborating and supporting artists and musicians for the past 15 years and gaining much respect within the media world, Italian streetwear brand 55DSL wanted to create a space that complimented the store and that could be used by creative types looking for somewhere to either work, play or exhibit.

Already with two very successful shows under its belt, with renowned artists Mitchy Bwoy and Rabodiga (blogged here), Studio55 is now gathering up momentum for the next show, this time with emerging illustrator Andrew Clark.

Inspired by the nostalgia of 55DSL’s fifteenth birthday, ‘The Learning’ gives a nod to the past in its resurrecting of the old. The work is new, but the delivery is traditional. Over-head projectors, slides and frames give the viewer a chance to interact and be educated in Andrew’s first solo exhibition that won him so many admirers in 2009, with this latest showcase of work.
