The international exhibition of urban and street art 'Spank the Monkey' held at the BALTIC art gallery in Gateshead on the quayside and also on the streets of Newcastle-upon-Tyne & Gateshead closes this weekend. This is your last chance to see the show which includes work form: Banksy, FAILE, Freaks Gallery, Shepard Fairey, Groovisions, Invader, Kozyndan, Barry Mcgee, Ryan Mcginness, Takashi Murakami, Miss Van, Neasden Control Centre, Os Gemeos, Swoon and Ed Templeton to name a few.
The exhibition runs until January 7th, get yourselves up north to check it out. If you can't make it to the show there is also a very good catalogue published by DGV worth checking and it's available from most good bookshops
