SANTA'S GHETTO OPENS IT DOORS
Pictures On Walls 5th Santa's Ghetto opened its doors at the weekend at 15 Oxford Street right next to Tottenham Court Road Tube station, in a massive retail space that was once Clarks shoe shop. After last year's ridiculously small space on Berwick Stree this year's prime location retail space gives them the room to include a lot more stuff. Expect to find paintings, sculptures, film, bric-a-brac, bins, hubcaps and depending on when you go possibly a queue outside. If you can't make it to London to see the Ghetto, there are some pictures over on howaboutno's flickr account.
AS well as the original artwork at Santa's Ghetto, there will be new POW prints available to buy that don't yet feature on the POW website. New prints from Pure Evil, who flew to London over the weekend from San Francisco to sign his new "Panda's Rock" print. Eelus will release the final two colorways of his very popular "Shat-at" and the remaining 3 editions of the Wookie wonderful Chewbarber . They are available from Santa's Ghetto and also from Eelus's website at 10am this morning. You gotta be quick as these are gonna sell out quick.
