The last year in London has seen the loss of some long-running murals by Belgian street artist ROA, all of which have all had goods run considering the high turnover rate of some London Street Art locations.
We had seen some work in progress images shared on social media on a Friday and with bitter cold temperatures we were surprised to hear that street artist Phlegm was still painting in these temperatures in East London.
It's been some time since we caught with Italian street artist Giacomo Bufarini aka RUN. The one time London based artist has recently moved back to Italy but has been working on a number of projects here in London since the begining of summer. We were unfortunately out of the country ourselves and missed the artist while he was at work on one of these projects which saw him redecorating the entire side of a Church in Peckham with a huge mural featuring his work. We have yet to see this piece in person but if you have not already seen it check out RUN's instagram.
Hookedblog have been back and forth to Walthamstow, London the last few days checking in on the the progress of the first Paint Your London street art event which was launched last weekend by local art based collective Woodstreet Walls (Previously on Hookedblog).
