Edwin Mural in London

London based Australian street artist Edwin recently completed work on a new mural, located on one the ever-changing walls on Hanbury Street, just off Brick Lane in East London.

Known among London street art fans for his ongoing series of hand-drawn stickers that are to be found on street furniture in and around Shoreditch, Brick Lane, and the Hackney Wick area.

This new wall sees Edwin supersize the iconic United States Postal Services' Label 228 address label stickers. The freely available labels are used by sticker/ graffiti artists the world over and Edwin has covered the wall with a series of works based on these labels.

Stenciled directly onto the walls, each of the super-sized labels features its own unique hand-painted and spray-painted images, which also see Edwin making use of the 'To' and 'From' text of the address label in the works.

Check out his work below and if you happen to be in London stop by and visit the work on Hanbury Street just off Brick Lane.
