Over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend, LAVA Collective are taking over two rooms in The Rag Factory, which is situated just off Brick lane on Heneage Street. We blogged about the forthcoming Bruno 9li exhibition back in March {blogged here}, and the opening night date has rolled around. Tomorrow night the 29 April 2010 will see the exhibition open with a private view in The Rag Factory.

The main room is set to feature works from Brazilian artists Bruno 9li & Talita Hoffman, and across the courtyard, LAVA Collective will be showcasing their stable of emerging artists. Ashes57 and Vitriol have confirmed they will be contributing work. We are big fans of BRUNO 9li here at Hooked and are delighted to hear Bruno 9li will be flying over to London from Brazil to create large-scale mural in the space for the exhibition. This will form the centrepiece of the show, which will also feature his new series of original works on paper.

Opening Reception — 29 April 2010
This will be a guest list only event, and capacity is limited, so don’t forget to RSVP: rsvp@lavacollective.com
